Phil Roubin is a photographer whose work is based upon a personal documentary style focussing on the universality of human emotion and captured predominately on traditional 35mm film formats. His work has been exhibited extensively and included in several prominent art prizes, including the National Photographic Portrait Prize, Josephine Ulrick and Win Schubert Photo Prize, Moran Photographic Prize and Olive Cotton Prize for Portraiture. Editions of his photographs are held in public and private collections. In 2022, his first monograph, Mixed Feelings was published and encompassed into the archives of the International Centre for Photography and National Gallery of Victoria.
